How correctly determine your clothing size?

Sometimes it's really hard to find quality clothes with affordable prices in the local stores, and you start searching on the web.

Online shopping is becoming more and more popular. You can buy a brand dress, underwear, even a fur coat at an affordable price, often directly from producer's website, not leaving your home. Great, isn't it? The only thing stops you and many people and makes to go to the mall is the question of the right size of clothes.

Alternatively you can check tags of old clothes. But sometimes it's not even readable.

Thankfully, it's not that hard. To determine it's size you only need soft tape measure, and one person to help you.

It's desirable to measure wearing underwear.

So, stand straight. Fist we measure bust (perimeter), then waist (in the thinnest place) and hops (at the most convex point).

Now you have recorded data.

Open the Converter and input values in which units are convenient for you - centimeters, or inches? Once you have input 2 measurements out of 3 you will get the standard sizes in several systems: international size, American, European, British, CIS, Chinese, French or Italian.

It is important to remember that sometimes well-known brands use their own grid size. Before buying, you might want to check that grid.

Also below you can see a table that has same values as the Converter. This is done for those cases when a person can't determine the correct size. For example, if the measurements you have differs a lot: when the chest is a size S, and hips size is M.

We recommend you to focus on what You are going to buy. To buy t-shirt or blouse size is important in size of bust, but for pants or skirts hip and waist values are more important.
